When I got to the end of the book I was wanting to keep reading but I couldn't cause I don't have book 3 yet but 3-5 are on their way. I usually read books about supernatural things so after reading Bella Forrest series " the gender games " And liking it I decided to give this series a chance and I'm glad I did. I love Bella Forrest books. I can't wait to get lost in some more of her books. The only thing I don't like about her books is the way she replaces words like using "save" for except or "albeit" for although. You're either gonna like the book or you're not but if you like what you read in the description then give the book a chance.
Bella Forrest writes another break out hit in her new series. She keeps readers in a state of suspense in the new series and has everyone on the edge of their seat. She leaves you with a cliffhanger and wanted more as soon as you finish. This series is amazing and another great read from a fabulous author
I enjoyed this book. I started out with Gender Games, which was annoyingly juvenile, but there were aspects in the storyline itself that kept me going. Dared to stand is basically starting a new series as an offshoot of Gender Games. Once again, the characters are a bit juvenile, but I love the storyline....I'm hooked
The author took a lot of words to say simple things. Sometimes the plot would stall while there were pages of introspection.
Very interesting social structure with much of mankind “ruled†voluntarily by AI computers, until one outcast gets an understanding of what’s programmed and who runs the AI. Seven books in the series is a long haul to read and especially at $4.99 per book. Couldn’t wait to get to the next book! Prolific writer.
New author for my daughter (17 yoa).....she reads very quickly and we are always looking for new book series. She read all 7 in less than a week over a long road trip this summer. She liked these and thought they were a good read. She is a fan of Roth, Maas, Riordan; and of course, Rowling.
I gave this book a 4 rating. I found this book to be both interesting and fast moving. It held my interest throughout the entire book. Looking forward to reading the next book.
I did not enjoy this as much as the first. It still kept my interest so I purchased part 3. Beware it keeps you going....
