The story felt rushed, there was very little build up to the one problem the main character has in the story. There is literally two scenes about the problem, the first scene is where we get a hint about it and the second scene is when the problem becomes reality for the main character. The rest of the book is about her complaining over her situation or the "oh my gosh this is so great" ending. The story concept had real promise of where it could go, but the author did a shallow story instead of a story with depth.Additionally, the book ends at 14% with the rest being fillers of four other books that are completely unrelated storyline wise to this book. She includes 4 to 10 chapters of each of those books. Including a sneak preview of another book is one thing, but since this book is only 14 chapters long it lowers my opinion of the other books she includes. Teasers are one thing but she is giving away more of her work for free than I feel she should.

Holden's looking for a mate to help him raise his son but where's the little boy's mother? Can he be trusted. Magic in the dragons and magic in the human women they meet. To find all the answers read this, the 1st book in Meg Ripley 's series Daddy Dragon Guardians. Outstanding writing, characters that will steal your heart and find a place in your memory long after you turn the last page. Luv dragons, luv romance and twisty turny suspense? Then this book is for you. Highly recommended.
When I saw the title about "Daddy Dragon", I was hesitant to read the books. So many of the stories about Daddy this or Daddy that are about older men seducing younger women and wanting them to call them "Daddy". But I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had found books about dragons who were gathering the baby dragons of their Queen who had died. Each story is about the search for a mate on Earth after the destruction of their own planet. Holden was not looking for a mate when he found her by accident. His story kept my interest throughout the entire time. I hope you will find it as well.
I thought this book was cute. It was a short story that had the main points and didn’t have all the word fillers to extend to the story. Leah Watson is a recent divorced psychic, heartbroken and lost. Holden Reid is a Dragon-Shifter desperate for a mate. The rest you will have to read because again it is a cute story.
Daddy Dragon Guardian Series by Meg Ripley is a must read. It is heartwarming, exciting and fun to read. You must read the whole series. It is neat to follow characters through a series. You will love this series. Thanks Meg for sharing your talent with your fans.Cookie
Wonderful to watch Leah go from near bottom to so happy. The baby dragons sound so cute wish there were pictures. Glad Holden's confusion was short lived and might now help the others when they find their mates.
This book has the great love scenes. The instant connection of true love. I just loved reading. Can't wait to read about the other guys.
